It is our desire to help our community of faith to further their walk with Jesus Christ as well as introduce others to His love. In this spirit, we provide many ministry programs for our members, friends, and the community. If God leads you to start a new ministry, please contact the staff to get started.
Celebrate Recovery is a front line ministry of Covenant Church for helping hurting people. We know when one person in a family struggles with a destructive or addictive behavior, the whole family hurts. We take seriously the need to serve the whole family.
Every Monday evening, we offer Celebrate Recovery for adults, the Landing for middle school and high school students, and Celebration Place for children under 12 years old. We are privileged to be able to provide a safe place for every member of the family. We believe the cycle of dysfunction can be broken through the power of Jesus Christ and by working the Eight Principles and 12 Steps of Recovery. Freedom is possible!
Celebrate Recovery meets Monday at 6:30pm. Dinner is served at 5:30 pm.
Over fifty families were served as Covenant Church provided backpacks, school supplies, personal care items, clothing, shoes, and coats for about 140 children. We collected items throughout the summer and invited the community to "shop" for free.

Operation Christmas Child
Operation Food Drop
In conjunction with Pastor Richard's series "Meat and Potatoes--Exploring Covenant Church's Foundational Beliefs", we embarked on the largest food drop in Lenawee County history. (At least we think but haven't seen the number to beat.) The congregation filled more than 200 boxes to deliver to food banks in our community.

MOPS (Mothers of Preschoolers) is all about celebrating motherhood! MOPS believes better moms make a better world, and that community is essential in this season of mothering. MOPS fosters a safe place, where mommas and their children are nurtured, encouraged, and experience the love of Jesus! Moms enjoy a time of respite complete with breakfast, devotion, prayer time, a speaker or activity, and fellowship while their little ones are loved and cared for. Oh, and of course-coffee!

The Learning Cove - Website: www.thelearningcove.org
The Learning Cove is a community outreach program of Covenant EPC that provides free tutoring in reading to Tecumseh Public School students, based on academic and financial need. Our goal is to help each student who participates in the program achieve grade level reading proficiency, thereby increasing their potential to be successful in school and in life.
TLC is an after-school program for second through fourth grade students that meets on Wednesdays in the annex of the TPS administration building. We employ a professional reading specialist who works closely with the school reading specialists to meet each student's specific need. Students meet for an hour, one-on-one, with a volunteer coach, trained by our reading specialist. Volunteers come from across the Tecumseh community.
Vacation Bible School
But Jesus said, Let the little children come to me and do not hinder them, for to such belongs to the kingdom of heaven. Matthew 19:14
Our intent behind Vacation Bible School is to reach out to the young people of our church and community in order to introduce them to Christ, God’s ultimate plan for them, and how they can honor and love Him in this lifetime. Through purposeful teaching and activities, our staff sets out to be the face of Christ that the children can be inspired to follow.
